Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani has been an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most popular. He starred in the cult legendary film Shottas alongside another artist Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani joined Shang Records and recorded his debut album in 1996, like Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles, including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap fit (remix), and Sensimelia. All of these helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a rising reggae artist. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up along with Praswell (Fugees) to record Avenue which was a smash cover that was a cover of the song by Eddy Grant Electric Avenue. Marley became the first performer to appear in Midem in Miami the world's largest showcase of music. The performance of Marley at the Cameo Theatre was broadcast live to 36 different countries by Caribbean News Agency. Marley's name was the subject of a bid war. In 1997 he joined Gee Street/V2 Record.
